| He was part of the core management team that incubated and commercialised ECnet. He recognised the importance of having a system with a total approach to managing people and achieving high performance through its people systems. As a result he played an instrumental role in getting Silkroute PD (People Developer) certified. He recognised the role people played in the growth of the company and ensured that the HR department reported directly to the CEO and COO of the company . | ||
| Prior to joining SilkRoute, Kirpal managed and headed several major projects within the Defence Science Organisation, the R&D arm of the military, to deliver mission critical military systems | ||
| With more than 25 years of experience in systems re-engineering, and playing an instrumental role in formulating organisational structure and building the critical corporate resources to ensure the growth, Kirpal now coaches and trains middle and top management executives to be competent in their current roles | ||
| He holds a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering from the prestigious Fachhochschule Ravensburg/Weingarten in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany as part of a Singapore government scholarship programme, and a Masters of Business Administration with a focus on Systems Thinking and Engineering from the University of Hull, United Kingdom | ||
